Recycled Glass Storage Jar with Wooden Lid and Spoon

Recycled glass is used to make these jars.  Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove impurities.  It is then crushed and melted down before being moulded and hammered using traditional tool.  The lid and spoon are made from mango wood which is a by-product of the fruit industry.  The Wood is taken once it is no longer bearing fruit and transformed into useful pieces for the home.

As they are all handmade by artisans they will vary in finish from one jar to another.
